Funky
Town is a new club highlighting 2001's glory years of
disco. It is an all-new venue witAnother key improvement
is the addition ofh a disco look and "martini room"
feel, complete with a new LED lighting system and illuminated
dance floor. Keeping with currently scorching club scene
trends, Funky Town features four large video screens that
display a wide variety of '70's '80's and '90's video
hits to keep the night visually exciting. Club 2001's
roots, firmly planted in the disco era, have come to fruition
with this venue.
Razzie's
Beach Club has been a live-music fixation for more than
24 years among locals and visitors to the Grand Strand.
2001 is bringing in top quality beach and R&B groups
to help stimulate the clubs laid back vibe. Roger has
resurrected the infamous "Wednesday Night Beach Party",
where big name beach bands such as the "The Fantastic
Shakers" and "The Entertainers", perform
live. Other bands playing at Razzie's range from Motown,
R&B, beach and classic rock on any given night. This
musical variety is sure to make Razzie's more local friendly
than in the past
One
of the major upgrades to 2001 has been the opening of
Club Touch. Club Touch comes alive with excitement and
energy, as its state-of-the-art Pioneer 3000 video system
and software creates dazzling eye candy for the club clientele.
Upon entering, the senses are electrified by the titillating
combination of sizzling beats, hot, sexy videos and ambient
footage. Via hidden cameras, clubgoers become part of
the projected dance collage on the six video walls.
Club
Touch features an excellent mix of current Top 40, mainstream
dance, hip-hop and techno, and of course, the occasional
classic or two. The club layout is phenomenal with two
huge bars, video-enhanced lounge areas and an unrivaled
