(Myrtle
Beach, SC - April 9, 2008) - Is this the real life or just
fantasy? Hard Rock Park and the "Bohemian Rhapsody"
night show spectacular IS reality and is ready to ignite the
world.
Like the
encore to an awesome rock concert, "Bohemian Rhapsody"
will be the ultimate rock 'n' roll finale to the Hard Rock
Park experience. Occurring nightly, this musical spectacular
includes state-of-the-art lasers, colorful dancing fountains
and stunning fireworks, all set to one of rock's most popular
hits - "Bohemian Rhapsody."
The show
will take place on the Park's nine-acre lagoon, the site of
Hard Rock Park's signature 70-foot-tall Gibson guitar icon,
which is equipped with specially programmed neon lights and
strobes, which play a starring role in the nightly festivities.
"Bohemian
Rhapsody screams unconventional and we thought it would be
the perfect ending to a visit to Hard Rock Park where we celebrate
the essence and irreverence of rock music," said Steven
Goodwin, CEO of Hard Rock Park. "Nobody will want to
miss this!"
"With
more than 1,000 pieces of pyrotechnics and 137 fountains,
we are creating new memories for families with a classic song,"
said Jon Binkowski, COO of Hard Rock Park.
Other
legendary rock icons leave their legacy at Hard Rock Park,
such as Led Zeppelin with Led Zeppelin - The Ride, the Park's
signature rollercoaster, and The Moody Blues with Nights In
White Satin The Trip, a psychedelic dark ride.
Check
out Hard Rock Park during "Sound Check" from April
15 - May 7. During this three-week "rehearsal,"
visitors will become a part of rock history as they get to
check out the world's first rock 'n' roll theme park as it
springs into life.
Hard Rock
Park, scheduled to open to the public on May 9, is a 55-acre
theme park boasting more than 50 attractions for rockers of
all ages, including roller coasters, live shows and entertainment,
children's play areas, restaurants and retail stores.
