I mean no disrespect to the DiscoverMyrtleBeach Pulse awards, but The Sun News did their 2009 Best of the Beach awards recently. It is split into two groups: Readers' choice and Visitors choice. Both outcomes had similar results. There were many categories to choose from and most of the winners were well known establishments. It was nice to see some familiar names on the lists.
