Around 8:30 on Wednesday evening, two F-16 collided in mid-air about 30-40 miles off the coast of Folly Beach near Charleston.

The two planes were involved in training exercises at the time of the collision. One plane was able to land safely at Charleston Air Force Base. However, crews are searching for the for the pilot of the 2nd plane.
