Hi! I'm visiting my dad later this month & am looking for activities we can both enjoy. Along with us will be his wife & my boyfriend (we're in our late 20's).

We're looking for fun activities that might be unique for us all.
Would love any suggestions anyone can throw out.

We're open for anything, but my dad has an on-off back problem so parasailing is probably out (for example).

Thanks in advance to any and all responses!

Hey Coles! We can always through out the usual. Amusement Parks, Water Parks, Shows, etc.

But you could always try a cruise on the waterway via Great American Riverboat. I think. They also have a dinner cruise.

How's your dad for walking? There's the Waccatee Zoo which is very large and just a nice day. Brookgreen Gardens in Pawleys Island is also a lot of walking but is very nice to stroll. Beware the heat on these walking days.

Depending on whether you all like to look at all kinds of things during a casual shopping stroll.........check out the flea market down near murrells inlet. Everyone I've taken has wanted to go back again. Neat things like "as seen on tv". Remember the green bags commercials? I picked some up at the flea market for $2 a pack instead of the tv special $19.95. Gorgeous beaded flipflops that are contoured in the shape of your foot for $15, have almost any perfume copied for $2 to $5 bucks, costume jewelry at $1 for a necklace or $1 for a pack of different style earrings, bracelets.......just to name some of things you'll see there. Cell phone covers, AVON products, 600 thread count sheet sets, rugs, books for you readers, socks, purses and handbags, sunglasses. It's hard to think of everything because you tend to focus on the things you personally like but its worth a few hours of browsing. I'm wearing from 2008 summer, one of those magnetic braclets on my ankle.....it was like $10 and suppose to help with athritis. Cant tell if it helps but it hasnt lost it's gold look and you cant tell it from a $200 or $300 ankle bracelet and I wear it in the shower and swimming. I've bought lots of different watches in different styles there for $15 a watch. I can just about match a watch to my outfit. I like being able to do that for the price.
