The City set up its one-way traffic partner in Myrtle Beach this past week in response to Bike Traffic along Ocean Boulevard. However, these photos show that traffic along Ocean Blvd has been non-existent. While we set up to take the following photos a total of 4 motorcycles passed by in a 5-10 minute span.

We're also hearing that Atlantic Beach area hotels are about 95% book for next week, which was the rally people say the city really wanted to get rid of. So it seems that the bike ordinances have been a big bust. Bikers, while there may be fewer, have moved north and south of the city.

The thought crossed my mind that if I wanted a peaceful week in MB proper this would be the weekend to go. I think the sight is beautiful. It's almost the same as being on a deserted island. But w/ the way my luck has been running lately, if I was in town, my hotel would be booked full & there would be no solitude for me.
