We are learning that two bikers were killed this evening in two separate accidents near Highway 544.

That's terrible. Regardless of your feelings on bike week and the bikers, no one wants to see anyone hurt or killed.

I can only imagine the horror their families must be going through. I'd assume they were down there for vacation, a feeling of excitement and happiness we can all relate to, only to have it snatched away in an instant, a feeling that probably none of us can relate to. This was probably the furthest thing on all their minds, as it would be for anyone in the middle of a vacation.


The only small amount of good that can come from tragedies like these are to act as reminders to us to live each day like its our last, and to always remember to say I Love You to the people who matter most to you. My heart and sympathies go out to the families of these two. God Bless.
